Hogtied Hottie and Microwave Madness

Ever notice that almost everything in the world uses a different kind of light bulb? I have. Ever notice that the things that you use almost all of the time have the type of bulbs you just can't go to the store and grab? I have. I ran into this with my strobes a bit back. They modeling lamps look like regular bulbs but no, they have a wacky wattage that required me to special order them. I ran into this with my television recently. I couldn't even order the bulb for that. Well I could, but I couldn't get the retailer/repair pricing which doubled the price. As such the television has been sitting at the repair shop for weeks. Now the microwave bulb goes out. How hard can that be to replace? I mean, it's just tiny, 3-way bulb. Hell, that's the worst of the bunch. The bulb needs to be ordered from the manufacturer.

That's why I decided to work on a clip based on the idea of someone getting their just desserts rather than misfortune falling on them. I released a story called Date with Welded Elbows a bit back. It's actually the second part of a series where two Sisters are set to inherit some money. One wants it all though and hires a goon to keep her Sister occupied during the reading of the will, thereby forfeiting her claim to half of a fortune. The sinister scheme backfires though when she has the audacity to question the ability of her hired man to get the job done. He shows her he's up to the task with tight ropes and welded elbows.

It was the first time I'd worked with Victoria and the first time she ended up in a jacked hogtie precariously balanced on a chair. I'll give it to her though. She drooled like hell and never broke character as the strands flew everywhere. Hogtied and Hurting

You know that you put a lot of rope on someone when you keep extra rope on hand just in case but you still have to go get even more. The last time I had to do that was when I had about 600 feet on Angelique Kitos for her version of the hogtie challenge! I used 200 feet alone for her arms on that one.

That happened with this hogtie as well. It was supposed to be a 300-foot hogtie challenge for a custom video request, something I've done a number of times. As such, I had 400 feet handy just in case. After I had her arms almost completely encased in rope, I knew I was going to run short so I had to break out 100 feet more to finish the tie!

It sounds like a lot of rope, but that thin cord goes fast. I like a lot of coverage on these ties, so it takes at least twice as much of the cord as it does the nylon rope I normally use. Thirty bucks in cotton cord doesn't sound like much but for one position that's a lot of rope! I can get 1000 feet of nylon rope for that much. It's worth it though. The challenges are fun ... correction, fun for me. They also seem to be popular with people.

Tickle Tickle

I'll admit that I like this image because it has depth. I've always drawn comic book pages and as such shoot dramatic angles when it suits the mood. This one was nice because I'm in the background, Amaya is in the foreground and I'm reaching the entire depth. It just implies action to me even though it's a a screen shot.

As for the image, it is a tickling scene if you couldn't guess from the ham-fisted title. I've worked with a lot of ticklish gals, and I find it fun to shoot. I just tend to shoot things that a little grittier, so I don't get a chance to indulge myself that often. I find it more realistic that a captor would grope somebody than tickle them. The first time I worked with Amaya though she told me multiple times that the only time she drooled was when she was tickled. Oddly, she squirmed a lot but never drooled ... boo!

Because of my penchant for grittiness, I always pass on the tickling in favor of spanking and such. I really don't know how people feel about tickle fetish and wish I could get some feedback. If I knew it was popular or not, I'd love to do more of it. Until then this screen shot is from the only tickling clip I've done amazingly. It starts Amaya Solace and is called Tied and Tickled Tart. Pretzel

Everyone has positions that they do regularly. Hogties, frog ties, chair ties and such become part of a rigger's palette of ties. Some positions get more play, but everyone has a certain way that they execute them. Crisp coils, raw wrapping, nylon rope, cotton cord, strict, playful, ballgags, wadding, tape and cloth all become parts of the signature that brands a person's work.

Just as importantly how people do the ties is just as telling. I've always viewed rigging as sculpture where I mold the damsel. It is just as artistic in some cases as putting pencil to paper or paint to canvas. Even further, there are customizations folks do with positions that make them unique. I have names for a lot of my "takes" on the standard positions. I have a suspension I call the "Do Not Disturb" and a chair tie called "Furniture on Furniture." They differ with each model but contain some overlapping key elements.

One of the tougher ones I have is called the "Pretzel." It starts as a lotus tie and although it gives you plenty of time to meditate you're probably going to be thinking about how much you want out. I worked with a gal called Spiral a couple times. We did a nice struggle and grope sequence in a black catsuit and a fun spanking sequence in a sport dress. Each time her elbows were crushed. The position that made the shoot though we only got 2 minutes of video because it just pushed her to the max. That was the Pretzel.

Sometimes losing a bet is a win

I shot again with Kerri Taylor recently and have to say again that I'm amazed at the material I get out of her. We were chatting about some crazy stuff people had tried to get her to do, and I quipped that I'd better cross that off the list for today. She responded with I can try what I want because she knows I'll get her out fast if she needs relief.

In the middle of shooting I was explaining a position, and she started teasing me about it. Granted it was a chicken wing hogtie and frogtie, but she really thought it sounded silly. I told her that it's a no-joke position, the kind that is agony from the start and hell near the finish. She told me that she could take anything, so we made a little bet. If she could hold out for 6 minutes from the time I finished tying, I'd make the last set an easier one. If she had to bail, she owed me one more short set at the end of the day.

The banter was playful until we got to the chicken wing. Her elbows were already smashed together and when those wrists went up to her shoulders she knew it was going to be a challenge. By the time I did that extra pull on the hogtied to get things tight she was already making noises of strain. We got the gag on and away we went. My job was to move the camera around her and get the right panning. She really couldn't do much. The position basically made her furniture. She wiggled her fingers and a foot, but she mostly made pained grunts.

Her face showed the strain and as minutes ticked by she was really gutting things out. I gave her the option to bail multiple times, but she wouldn't let me. After 6 minutes I lifted her head up and told her to say, "I win, you suck!" She didn't sound happy. I ungagged her and she begged me to be quick. I could hear in her voice she was just about to lose it, so I cut her elbows. I filmed the complete untying so people would know just how hard models have to work for these positions. She could have tapped out at any time and basically put herself through hell to one-up me. And she did. She won! Of course, I won too because the video made a killer clip of what happens when a rigger and a model decide to go toe-to-toe.

HeavenLee

I had the pleasure of working with HeavenLee a number of times, but I've never released any footage of her. She passed on several years back, and I just didn't have the heart to publish material of someone I liked as a person, enjoyed working with and was no longer with us. I guess it felt a bit morbid and made me a little sad. I mean when she was at her worst I sent her a bunch of free XBox games and would get emails about how it was great of me because she couldn't get out of bed.

I was going through some of the material recently, and it changed my mind. Something that happens when you shoot is that the camera stays on sometimes when you're untying someone and you're just chatting. There were conversations where she talked about how much she loved bondage, relished the challenge of tight restraint and wanted to become one of the best bondage models in the business. She'd have a huge smile and laugh and then tease me about how I tied too loose. It made me realize that I hadn't been focusing on the HeavenLee full of life.

That's when I came across this tape. She had been sick for several months and I was the the first person she'd shot with in almost 4 months. She came in and told me that she wanted to be tested, she needed to know she could still hold up. I was a bit apprehensive, but she assured me it was alright. I tied her tight, cocooned her in a black sheet and did a scene where she was carried upstairs and put through her paces. She grunted and writhed cocooned, then dressed, then topless and then hogtied. She was non-stop motion for over 30 minutes where her elbows were welded bone-to-bone and the hogtie was merciless. She definitely still had it! She kept wriggling until she had nothing left. That's the HeavenLee I'm going to remember now. She wanted to be one of the best and goddammit she is.

I'm detecting some patterns :)

I'm a numbers guy. I've always been great with Math, loved puzzles and watch trends carefully with everything I'm involved with. The really odd thing about that is I hate fantasy football. I guess I should correct myself in saying I like numbers and trends when you can maximize a productive result. Fantasy football is a fun result ... number crunching sales is productive :)

Ever since I first started putting out material I've watched things closely. I change how I do updates and watch the trends. I look at how certain models are received both when they are being published by others and when I'm the only one putting material out with them in it. I'm a bit of a geek because I wrote a heat map program that I export my sales data into. For anyone unfamiliar with a heat map, it's basically a grid of where you color-code values. The cooler and darker the color, the less the value and the hotter and brighter the higher the value. The end result is that every time a clip of mine sells those keywords get weighted into my heat map application.

Now what does all this mean? Well, I know that you like the models I've shot with that people haven't put any material out of or any material in the last 5 years. I know you like elbows that are jammed together. I know you like a lot of things. I'm not giving anything away but suffice to say that out of the last 10 clips that I have put up, they have performed in a manner that I expected. That's great because it lets me put up what folks like and gear future shoots towards those trends. And when the trends change I'll see it!

My latest clip is part of that. Every clip with the girl in it sells well. She's cute, her elbows can be glued together, she can take a huge gag and she makes the most adorable noises. She shows up as orange in my heat map which is respectable being so close to red. The content of this clip is a bit different, so we'll see if that changes the trend. Balltie from Hell!

Sometimes I go back through video and think to myself, "how the hell did I get away with that?" It actually happens quite a bit. There's a lot of give and take in making video where you have to feel (no pun intended) you're way through the sequence. You sense when to pull back or just as importantly push a little farther. Before you know it the damsel is in one hell of a bind (pun intended).

I've had the pleasure of working with Sammie Sparks several times. On first glance most people will immediately fixate on her giant breasts. Okay, on first glance all people will fixate on her giant breasts. She paid a lot for them, so I can't fault anyone for that. However, she's the perfect damsel. She's tough as nails, open to a real challenge and pretty much never says cut. That last part is very useful when you do take-downs on video. During photo sets it's very easy for someone to say, "that's a bit tight." During video it's just as easy, but Sammie never seems to do that. She just goes with the flow ... she would say a real damsel has no choice, so she figures neither should she. Don't get me wrong, that's not a free pass to being a jerk ... it just means that if you stay close enough to the line of comfort she'll let you go past it for the sake of the video.

The first time I worked with her I focused a lot on breast bondage and a capture. I mean, I'd be stupid not to. On our next shoot I wanted to focus more on some nice rope bondage with on-screen tying but also more predicament bondage. We started out with a complete tie on camera. I can't mention this enough but on-screen tying is far tighter than off-camera. When the girl is struggling you have to cinch it more to keep it from falling off, and you get a much tighter tie. Soon she was completely helpless, her tits were tied hella-tight and she was ballgagged with a gauze cover and blindfold. Believe it or not, that was the easy part. We moved into a balltie on a chair where she was hooded with a trainer gag over that and her head was tied back. Add spanking and it wasn't much fun for Ms. Sparks. Finally, we hogtied her, balanced her on an end table and tied her head back again.

No escape

I've always been a huge fan of predicament bondage, but that sort of thing is up to interpretation. That makes it important for me to explain my personal view of predicament bondage. Yes, it includes the damsel in distress scenarios of "will she get loose in time" and "will they arrive to save her in time." My interpretation though has grown through the years as I've experienced more and more ties.

I have a personally philosophy of pushing people's limits. No, that does not mean I tie them up until they cry and then I let them go. That's not pushing a limit, it's exceeding a limit and then pulling back from it. There's a market for that and some folks that produce great material around it. I'll leave that to them. To me pushing a limit is taking somebody up to the edge of what they thought they were capable of and then letting them decide to go past that edge. I love when someone is exhausted at 10 minutes but decides to keep rolling for 15.

That's not the only example though. When someone is tied up the endorphins and adrenaline kick in and they became somewhat like super women. You have a period where you can responsibly get great material out of them if they allow it. Okay, so what does this mean. When you tie someone up there's a give and take of layering on restraint and making sure that the model is cool with things. However if you talk to them in the right way and put things on at the right pace they start feeling more flexible and resilient. They'll let you amp it up a bit more. That's when you get the best results. You're bending them but not breaking them ... and the results are wonderful. They struggle like hell until the adrenaline wears off and then realize, "holy shit he made me into a Russian gymnast."

I had a recent experience like that with Stacie Snow. Her elbows touch because she's tough and flexible, but I never really weld her elbows because she's a wiggler and a little space lets her do her thing. We were doing a scene with layers and I taped over the rope to cover the knots. A cool thing about electrical tape is it's somewhat elastic. That means even though I left a little room with the rope that tape squeezed her elbows together, no crushed them together. And she lasted forever. She went from couch to floor, struggled, rolled and even lied on those welded elbows without even saying ouch. And then the adrenaline wore off and she was done.

That's predicament bondage. We bent the limits without breaking them and got a scene where at the end she was totally spent and totally at her captor's mercy. Luckily I'm a nice guy, so I let her go! Test complete!

I did it! When I started publishing material I made note of several things that were live or die indicators for any portal. One of the things I noted was a minimum amount of content. Another thing was video dimensions. You get the point. What would I need to do to actually get seen and get purchased.

Another list that I made was the "fan" list ... and by this I mean the bleep hits the fan list. Having made a ton of websites in the past, I know that the #1 reason people tank is lack of content and the #2 reason is lack of ability to update. With the holidays coming up and a trip to Vegas, I had a choice. Should I set up a number of updates for the time I'd be gone or should I do a little test.

Since I knew I needed to test some things I decided to forgo updates for a bit. I needed to know just how long it would take me to trickle out of sight. Slowly I dropped and it was agony not putting up some material, but I mustered forth. I figured this would be a couple days; to my surprise though it took 21 days for me to get pushed off the top 50 sites list on clips4sale. 3 WEEKS! I have to say that I am absolutely overwhelmed by how long that is for people to keep buying enough to keep my store showing up on that list. I am touched and thankful for the support.

With that test done, I now know that my material can weather what I used to call the 10-day storm. What happens if I get sick, or I have a family emergency or need a vacation. What happens if I can't get my updates done ahead of time? Now I know. As long as I keep putting up quality bondage with quality lighting that is TIGHT as a drum, I can outlast periodic small outages.

The good news is that tells me to keep going. The updates, the shooting and the editing are justified because the portal is sustainable. Thank you to all for your purchases and kind words. Thank you to all for bearing with me while I did my little test.

Now we can get back to regular updates :) This one is of Nyxon (who I see recently topped the bondage clips list at #1) in an escape sequence. I tied her up in thin rope, wrapped gauze over her ballgag and then left her to struggle without panties and with scissors in reach. I love escape sequences because the damsel has to work for it. The elbow ropes don't feel so comfy when you have to bend then out of a certain range ... to get loose you have to do just that. Kudos to Nyxon for the #1, Kudos to her on a great clip here.
