Gigi Learns She Hates Being a Mummy!

She had no idea how long she had been like this. Seconds seemed like minutes, and minutes seemed like hours when one is blind, almost deaf and unable to move. Her fervent struggling had long since ceased, replaced by a battle just to endure the increasing tightness of her predicament. The electrical tape squeezed her like a vice now that she had no strength to fight. She could only manage short breaths anyway, not enough to fuel meaningful struggle. The heat was unbearable. He had encased her in nylon before taping her. It seemed a kindness at first, a measure that prevents the tape from sticking to her skin. The double layer of nylon and tape kept in all her body heat though. It built up, and sweat drenched her body. Her neck was stiff, and she lifted her head to stretch it. She was afraid to roll on her back again. There was so much drool in her mouth, and it triggered her gag reflex when she rolled from her side. She could not afford another coughing fit like before. She almost blacked out the last time, and breathing took all her concentration. First one breath, then another. She focused on her breathing. She forced the air in and out despite the tape crushing her chest. In then out, steady and sure she kept telling her self. First one breath, and then the next. What she would not give for just one pillow at this point. Her neck was so sore. There were pillows about the room, but she had no idea where she was at this point. They might as well be miles away instead of mere feet. She could not roll anyway. The predicament had defeated her. It forced her to stay silent and immobile. She could do nothing but breath and wait for the return of the man that had done this to her. Anything would be better than this though. She welcomed his return despite what could be in store. She would hear the door at any moment. He would make things worse, but he would release he from this. That was all she cared about. What came next was no concern. All that mattered was an end to this. He was not a villain. He was going to be her savior. He would end this predicament, and that is all that mattered. She breathed in and out, and waited.

There is a subtle satisfaction to a restraint that wears a girl out instead of just defeating her. Anyone can make a damsel tap out of a position. It is much harder to create a scenario that slowly wears them down to the point where they can barely move anymore. They want to keep going. They want to struggle and moan and keep the film rolling. They cannot though. Their bonds have sucked all the energy from their limbs and all the spirit from their heart. The only thing they are left with after ten minutes is the ability to lay there and hope their lack of movement does not result in an addition to a position that is already made its point.

Nylon Encasement Nightmares

After not having a reliable computer for over 5 weeks I am so happy to be blogging again. It is unbelievably frustrating to have your computer crash and reboot anytime you run a program or a browser for more than 10 minutes. A complete wipe and re-install of everything fixes a lot of problems though!

Clip descriptions are my chance to paint a picture for people. The stage is set, the heroine is introduced and some of the drama about her circumstances unfold. I can give people a little taste of what the clip will hold. Blog updates however give me a chance to tell the tale behind the story. Where did the idea come from? What was it like to make the clip? What did the model have to endure to make the clip? Strict bondage makes producing a clip a story within a story. She portrays a character but she's still a stunning model desperately trying to endure incredibly challenging bondage and gags.

The image above is from my current take on "babysitter" predicament clips. I love the concept people have been doing. The babysitter lets her charges play a game and soon is in far over her head. It's playful, fun and full of tight restraint. A recent take on the concept from my perspective though turns things to the perspective of the Father. He knows what the kids do and feels it necessary to prepare the babysitter for what is in store. Unfortunately for the babysitter he is far rougher with them!

I recently shot the concept for the first time with Ashley Graham, and it turned into one of the strictest and most punishing sets I've done in a long time. She plays prissy so well which gets a gal into trouble during on-screen restraint. She had to endure being stripped, having her face stuffed with cloth that was taped in so tightly her eyes bulged, the tightest breast bondage I've ever done, full nylon encasement, a blindfold, a punishing gag and tape digging deeply into her flesh almost everywhere.

Being fully nude doesn't help the nylon from making you hot and sweaty. The bulging breasts crushed against your thighs ache. The electrical tape crushes deeply into your skin. Your elbows are taped so tightly your shoulders are aching. She was in a real predicament. In a post-restraint chat I thought for sure she'd say the breast bondage was the worst part because it was absolutely brutal. I was wrong though. She said the tape on her was so tight her knees were crushed together in agony and she could barely breath. Worse though the tape over her face was so tight it pulled between her lips driving the ballgag deep into her face and pinching her cheeks against her teeth. No wonder she whimpered and barely moved the entire time. She was struggling just to endure!

How do you like your damsel dressed?


I put up a new poll today. Correction, I put up my first poll today. I view my work as adaptive and evolve my content and style based on what is selling the best and more importantly the many emails I receive about likes and dislikes. Looking at the number of views I've been getting I wanted to try putting up some polls to give everyone a chance to express what they prefer when it comes to damsel in distress video. I still want those emails to keep coming, but this could be a great way to quickly take the temperature of everyone when it comes to bondage material. The first poll as the title of this post indicates concerns the attire of damsels. I'm always asked why I don't do more nudes or more stockings or more costumes or more latex. I shoot what I think looks nice is the simple answer. If I know what people are looking for then I'll shoot more around those preferences. No need to vote if that's not your thing, but any I do receive bring me closer to what you are looking for in future content!

One of the categories of the poll is garters, hose and heels. My formative bondage years were in a time when that was frequently seen in bondage images and movies. I've always had a strong preference for it going back to the beginnings of my photography. In fact the beginning of my photography was almost always that with some panties thrown in from time to time. Some of my favorite movies and images of this attire come from the film loops of the late 70s and early 80s, and they had a lot of garters, hose and heels. Hell there was even a bondage magazine called that. A little bit back I decided to try my hand at reproducing that look and style. The elements that I needed were a vintage looking model, the constant thrashing of the model, slight graininess to the film stock, the slightly accelerated movement speed, the look of 8mm celluloid film and that wonderful soundtrack.

The model was easier than I expected. I worked with this gal that called herself Betty Page and showed up to a shoot with this tussled throwback hairstyle and showing me the vintage shoes she just got at a rummage sale. I always keep garters and hose on hand, but would she go for the idea? I had worked with her twice before and although the bondage was strict the content was very mild. I went through all the elements from those loops that I could think of and she didn't balk at any of them. I was elated: noose, vibrator, groping, topless and bottomless were all now on the table. My video idea was one step closer to being complete. I coached her about the movement, and she nailed it. Gagged with her own panties held in by a strap she was dragged in by a noose and her sometimes rhythmic, sometimes thrashing movements were perfect.

Betty had given me perfect emoting and perfect movement. She had pulled off the vintage look and the movement from those old 8mm loops like she'd done it a hundred times. I had my footage, but the rest was up to me. The graininess was easy even shooting on DV film instead of celluloid. You can do it in post-production or while filming. With Betty I decided to shoot the video slightly underexposed and then bring up the brightness in my editing software. The grain effect came out perfectly. The slightly accelerated movement speed of the film proved slightly more difficult. I tried a dozen things. I sped up the play speed. I removed frames. I used plugins. I posted in forums. Everything I did though made it play far too quickly or made the playback jerk and hitch. I spent days on this effect and it was a fail. I decided to work on the funk soundtrack to at least make some progress. I found a great royalty free CD for around $60 and grabbed it. The songs were wonderful and very similar to the music tracks heard on the videos made using those old loops. That's when a very cool thing happened. I turned off Betty's audio and turned on the funk track. She seemed to be moving slightly faster. I turned her audio back on and she was moving at normal speed. I though I was going crazy, but somehow she seems to thrash more quickly with no sound or with the funk soundtrack. I decided that there must be some brain mechanism that makes time perceptions change when detached from the auditory experience. Regardless of the reason, the effect was there. Three cheers for dumb luck!

The last element was the look of old film stock. Anyone who's seen these loops or has some old home movies knows that the film has scratches, dust, blotches and those crazy hairs that float around while you play the film. They have plugins for that, but I didn't like the looks I was getting. I went back to looking and found some videos of actual 8mm film and videos that people created artificially. The actual 8mm was a bit distracting. The borders jumped all over the place and quite frankly gave me a bit of a headache. That's not a good thing watching a bondage video. The artificial one looked great but was a bit repetitive which made it seem artificial. The easy answer was to just pick one and be done with it, but I'd come so far to compromise. Again, there was a happy accident. In testing things I had both the actual 8mm and the artificial 8mm overlaying the video. I'd turn on one and turn off the other, but I accidentally left both on once and it looked wonderful. So I trimmed out that annoying border and used both merged. This did two things. It resulted in the longest video render of my life, but more importantly it nailed the look of the old 8mm film I wanted.

With that Betty in The Priss was born. As an homage to those loops I kept the story similar. Betty was a prissy wife who scoffed and her husband's bondage desires. Just like those loops a masked antagonist is brought in to teach her a lesson and make her into a compliant bondage model and toy for her husband.

That my friends is the face of someone who realizes they are in it deep. Lydia Lael is everything you want in a damsel: feisty, vocal and just sassy enough get herself into trouble.

The first thing she said to me before shooting was not to be shocked if a knot came undone or she got loose. She boasted about being a bit of an escape artist and a fervent struggler. Um, she didn't get out of anything. She tried like hell though that's for sure.

The expression on her face is half play-acting and half realizing that none of the ropes were going to come loose. She wriggled, wiggled, tossed and thrashed until she had nothing left in the tank and it got her nowhere. She is non-stop motion, and I can see why she'd boast of her abilities. Ropes can only hold up to movement for so long before a knot pops loose; however, she started on a couch and ended on a couch, with all ropes in tact. In the post-interview she was even a bit sheepish about her failure to come through on an escape. I will however admit that I cheated just a little bit. You see, naked ties are harder to slip out of that clothed ones. Poor Lydia didn't know that though. And such it was that the ropes dug into her skin and stayed on snugly.
Houdini no more, she had met her match when she faced the Barenaked and Boxtied Hogtie.

Tatyana's Only Bondage Appearance


I like to push boundaries. I guess it's good that I'm into bondage! One thing I'll always say to a model is that I'll bend you but I won't break you. Everyone has their own physical and mental limitations. I love to find those and see if I can get the model to exceed them.

No, this doesn't mean tying someone up until they can't take it anymore and then leaving them there for 5 more minutes. Forcing someone to endure a predicament past their comfort level has nothing to do with the model pushing themselves. There is a huge difference between having a choice and having no choice. When a model knows they can bail and still agrees to go that extra five minutes that is a self-discovery. That is also trust.

It takes a lot of trust for someone to allow themselves to be tied up by another. Trust is a huge element for me. You establish a dialog, work someone up to a certain level and then hopefully have a chance to work with them again and push things further. I've worked with many a model several times and by the second or third shoot the trust level is high. They know I'm not a maniac. They know I untie quickly. They know that if they push it right to the edge I can get them out in 30 seconds. The trust level allows them to do things they never would have thought themselves capable of and the results are exquisite. The highest compliment I receive is when seasoned fetish models tell me I tie quickly but comfortably for something strict and I release them quickly but gently.

There is another level of this though that I really enjoy. The level of trust and bravery that someone has to undergo to allow themselves to be tied up the first time. Imaging never being tied up and your experience with the subject being the mild ties seen on television. Now imaging a giant rubber ball in your mouth, your elbows welded and your back arched into a severe hogtie. What goes through your mind? How to you know you should continue? It takes a dialog between photographer and model. Just like any shoot, if you know how to talk to someone they will be more comfortable and push themselves past limits.

That happened when I worked with Tatyana. When I first contacted her about bondage she was unsure. I didn't push. I just left it open, offered her references, allowed her the option of an escort and was honest that it would be a challenge. She contacted me a couple weeks later and we did a test shoot. She came in a bondage virgin and struggled her way through two sequences that left her sore and exhausted. She could have bailed at any time, but she gutted out two video sequences and 4 photo sets. Bondage wasn't for her, but she still tested her own limits to see what she could get onto film.

No story, no plot, just two sequences of her with her elbows jacked and showing off a wonderful arch that those oh-so-flexible Russian gals can achieve. See her only appearance in bondage in Russian Beauty Rushin' Nowhere.

She Drooled All Over Herself


One of the things I notice about some models is that they drool .. a lot. Almost every one of them apologize for drooling and say something like, "I can't help it, the gag makes me drool and I try to keep it in but it leaks out." I then says something like, "no, let it flow and the video will be awesome!" They look at me like I'm a weirdo, and I can't blame them; it's an odd request.

Angelique did that the first time we shot. She kept swallowing the drool. A little while back she asked what people liked in clips, and I mentioned big gags as one of those things. She made a comment about not being able to hold back the drool with big gags, and the little guy on my shoulder who twists his mustache while a damsel is on the railroad tracks whispered, "jackpot" into my ear. I whispered back, "no crap!" Angelique said, "who are you talking to?" We have a lot of conversations similar to that.

The other day she got all dolled up and looked unbelievable. She asked for the big, blue ballgag purposely, and the second the camera rolled she started drooling. In the video you can see it streaming out of her face, glistening on her bosom and strewn across her thighs. It was everywhere, and it looked sweet. That gag is going to make plenty of appearances from now on, and poor Angelique is going to be drooling ... a lot!

I am "HENCHMAN"


I get to play the assistant to a super villain today which means I'm a henchman. It's not just the shirt that makes me a henchman, even if it does say "HENCHMAN" ... it's that I get to tie up two gals and be, um, henchmanish. As you can tell I'm a firm believer that it's fine to make up words. I'm also a firm believer that it's awesome to have people ask you to do rigging for them. It's great practice to capture (pun intended) the vision of others rather than tie in my own style.

All the intro footage is being shot which leaves me a lot of time before my scene. Well, intro footage if you count two girls tussling and then spanking each other. That gives me plenty of time for updating clips. I still have a bunch of re-masters to finish, but that's not stopping me from getting new things done as well. I showed a sneak peek from a clip yesterday, and it's actually up today. It stars Angelique Kithos and Kerri Taylor in They Wore Tight Skirts and Rope That Hurts. It was a fun one because tight spaces are always a challenge for lighting and filming. It requires models that know how to keep moving and are smart enough to let me see that their elbows are tied even though they're jammed into a tight corner!

Ever clip I shoot there's always a scene that I kick myself for not filming. For this clip I shot a short intro of them pleading. Then I tied their elbows and chests and asked them to move into the doorway. Why I didn't take a photo of them from behind with those arms tied is beyond me. I was just in a hurry to get the scene going. The moral of the story is that I have a small digital camera for candid shots for a reason! Maybe next time :)
