Elbows Do Not Always Have to Touch

Yes, I love when elbows touch. There's something about taking something as far as it will go, and there's really no farther then welded together when it comes to having your arms behind your back. I know there are Russian gymnasts out there and uber-flexible gals that can go beyond that, but I'm talking about the typical damsel. When the elbows are together you know the position is tight, but they don't have to touch to look challenging to me.

My ultimate love is when I can see that someone's arms are as close together as they will go. You can see how the rope around the elbows sinks into the skin even more than when elbows though. You can notice the tension in the shoulders because they can't rotate back any more. The shoulder blades start to close in on themselves, and the skin on the arms gets tight to the touch. That my friends can be even more challenging than having your elbows though.

When someone is flexible, their elbows can touch and it doesn't cause as much strain as you would think. When someone can't get their elbows to touch though and you pull them as close as they will go. That is the ultimate test of endurance. There is not way to relieve any pressure or any tension. Every cord bites in it's deepest and every movement pulls your already strained shoulders just a little more than would happen with elbows touching. I'm by no means saying that it's easy to have your elbows touching. I'm just saying it's damn hard when they don't touch and are still cranked back.

That's one of the reasons I loved working with Sammie Sparks. Her elbows didn't touch, but she'd let you haul them back as far as she could take. She'd let you do that and then still struggle like hell. In my opinion that is more taxing and more uncomfortable than most can imagine. That is a true test of fortitude that I will always appreciate. As a rigger one of my goals is to portray true helplessness and elbows not touching that you can visibly see are at their maximum closeness show true helplessness to me more than a lot of other restraints.

Rope Bras - They Lift and Separate

I've been working a lot with uprezzing which is lingo for taking lower resolution footage and converting it to a higher-quality format. Although the clarity isn't what I'm getting from my HDV camera, the results are none-the-less impressive. Interpolation algorithms (filling in pixels that don't exist in the original media) have really come a long way. It used to be that you could do a dozen things and still have a crappy looking result. Now there are fractal plugins and even the resize/sharpen features in newer versions of Premiere and Vegas do a wonderful job.

The image above is from He Made My Tits Bulge with Sammie Sparks. It was shot at a resolution much lower than what is being shown but there is great clarity and detail. The process takes a long time, but I'm consider re-releasing the video at HDV 1080 dimensions. I feel that as new technology becomes available, it's my job as a producer to explore it and try to make it available to the fans through updated material. I have high hopes that I can use these learnings to bring several of my highly popular DV releases up to HDV without it looking like blurry, blown-up bleh.

As for what's on the schedule for today, Angelique made a comment the other day, "you know, I can fit a lot in my mouth." As a male that statement can mean a lot of things, and the response can get you in trouble. I was saved by her quick follow of, "I want to do an extreme mouth-packing video." That means this afternoon will feature her getting her face stuffed with rubber balls, sponges, socks, panties and cloth until her cheeks bulge. I made even find a devilish way to test the effectiveness of the gags with some outside persuasion!

An oldie but a goodie


One of the only reasons I considered starting a clips store was a huge backlog of "vintage" material. Now by vintage material I don't mean movies from the 80s, everything I have ever shot has been DV or higher. It isn't up to the same standards I hold myself to now though with lighting and other equipment. Plus I've learned a lot from the many mistakes I made during those days. Therefor I call them vintage just to put a line between shooting as a hobbyist and shooting professionally.

Back then I was fortunate to work with Sammie Sparks several times. One of the reasons my shoots with her always gave me great material is that her husband was a fabulous cameraman. There was no wasting the model's energy moving tripods around with allowed me to be rougher in my handling of the "damsel" and her husband just knew where to have the camera pointed at all times. He knew how she struggles, so he'd be ready when she'd change positions and get just the right shot.

It still stands out though as a hallmark in someone actually trying to get away.

Balltie from Hell!


Sometimes I go back through video and think to myself, "how the hell did I get away with that?" It actually happens quite a bit. There's a lot of give and take in making video where you have to feel (no pun intended) you're way through the sequence. You sense when to pull back or just as importantly push a little farther. Before you know it the damsel is in one hell of a bind (pun intended).

I've had the pleasure of working with Sammie Sparks several times. On first glance most people will immediately fixate on her giant breasts. Okay, on first glance all people will fixate on her giant breasts. She paid a lot for them, so I can't fault anyone for that. However, she's the perfect damsel. She's tough as nails, open to a real challenge and pretty much never says cut. That last part is very useful when you do take-downs on video. During photo sets it's very easy for someone to say, "that's a bit tight." During video it's just as easy, but Sammie never seems to do that. She just goes with the flow ... she would say a real damsel has no choice, so she figures neither should she. Don't get me wrong, that's not a free pass to being a jerk ... it just means that if you stay close enough to the line of comfort she'll let you go past it for the sake of the video.

The first time I worked with her I focused a lot on breast bondage and a capture. I mean, I'd be stupid not to. On our next shoot I wanted to focus more on some nice rope bondage with on-screen tying but also more predicament bondage. We started out with a complete tie on camera. I can't mention this enough but on-screen tying is far tighter than off-camera. When the girl is struggling you have to cinch it more to keep it from falling off, and you get a much tighter tie. Soon she was completely helpless, her tits were tied hella-tight and she was ballgagged with a gauze cover and blindfold. Believe it or not, that was the easy part. We moved into a balltie on a chair where she was hooded with a trainer gag over that and her head was tied back. Add spanking and it wasn't much fun for Ms. Sparks. Finally, we hogtied her, balanced her on an end table and tied her head back again.

Breast bondage!


I like tied boobs. I'll admit it. The first film loop I every saw was of Renee Baker getting her breasts wired up into little balloons. It struck a nerve with me, and it's been part of my work ever since. The assumption that some may jump to is that I like adding some extra pain, but that's not even close.

One reason is that it appeals to me aesthetically. I've always viewed rigging as a form of 3D sculpture. The rope melds with the model to create a work of helplessness. The way the rope sinks into the flesh and the skin bulges around it has always appealed to me, and adding rope to a breast is no different. The rope sinks in around the base and the two combine to make something very different than before. In many cases it completes the visual. In the same way that a restraint looks more visually appealing with a crotchrope, some restraints just beg for bound breasts.

Additionally I love the added helplessness that a tightly bound breast adds. It illustrates the control a captor has which is always a great way to show helplessness, but it also limits the ability of the heroine to escape. A girl will think twice before rolling onto her chest or hopping around with those things bouncing all tied up. It's a psychological thing. She has the ability to do it, but the choice isn't as simple anymore. Further, it wears someone out faster. The goal of keeping someone put in a storyline is to either weld them in place or make sure the restraint wears them out before then can do anything to help their situation.

One of the first set of breasts I tied up on video was those of Sammie Sparks. She had a great way of struggling in breast bondage, always making sure they wiggled and jiggled. Take-downs!


I love on-screen tying, and I love take-down scenarios even more. There is nothing more raw and dramatic than grabbing a gal, physically restraining her and then tying her from start to finish while she struggles. I've hidden around corners, popped out of closets and even been cut and bruised more times than a prize fighter. It's always worth it though because it makes for the best-looking video.

I used to work with Sammie Sparks a while back. She'd come through the area and we'd get in 4-6 hours. I almost cried when she moved to California, but the several shoots we had were some of the best for active video. She struggled like a hellcat, always said the best damsel lines and her husband was great with a camera. That meant I was free to grab, grope and rope without stopping to reset camera angles. There's something a bit primal about that method of shooting. The two actors can really get into the role. She's really struggling against me, and I'm really fighting to get her under control. And the bondage is ALWAYS tighter than normal.

The first sequence we ever shot was a short film about Sammie coming home from work. I always liked shooting outdoor sequences because the neighbor across the street had a thing for high heels, and I'd always film the models going up the steps. He'd see me raking the lawn or something on odd days and ask when the next shoot was lol. Anyway, Sammie pops in, is grabbed and then it's non-stop footage of her and I and a crap-load of electrical tape. Poor Sammie is eventually balltied and going nowhere while her captor rifles through her purse and gropes the hell out of her trying to get her to talk.
